Tessa was my first bullmastiff, as well as, my first finished Champion. She is a top of the standard bitch, who has the most wonderful personality. I can run her with any other animal, and there is never a problem. When it is time to raise a puppy, Tessa does a great job of playing mom. She will always play fair with the puppy, while teaching them the meaning of a respecting others. Tessa was shown in the Junior Showmanship ring by Breanne Dunaway, and she assisted Bre in obtaining her Open Junior status in her first few shows she was old enough to compete in. They were quite a team, and Tessa gleefully lived with Breanne for six months. With a new baby in the household, Tessa is my true mother goose. She will come and get me if she thinks there is a problem, and be very patient as Christa pulls on her ears or jowls. Yet, she is the first to warn with a small "woof" upon a stranger entering the property or house. Tessa is the true epitome of a Bullmastiff and the temperament and intelligence for which they were originally bred. Tessa is Co-owned with Breanne Dunaway and Bob & Lynn Spohr
